Hyundai has launched 2014 Genesis in India

Hyundai has launched its next-generation luxury Genesis model globally. The Korean car maker plans to bring its flagship sedan in car segment to India. It is the highest ranked premium car in initial quality. Hyundai's luxury car segment offering Genesis sedan will come soon via CBU route in India and company is expected to be priced at around Rs 45 lakh. Genesi's ranked highest among all vehicles in the midsize Premium Car segment.

The Genesis is available with two types of engine in luxury car segment. First Genesis luxury sedan is 3.8 litre V6 offers plenty of power for making miles including 311bhp with more powerful 5.0 litre V8 produces a hefty 420bhp. Genesis's engine based on Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) which is the heart of this engine's ability to generate smooth, efficient acceleration.

Both engines are available to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends the power to its rear wheels. Genesis's 8-speed shiftronic automatic transmission system delivers smooth power and handles its every driving situation with unobtrusive ease.

The Genesis has more interior volume than other luxury care in its class.

Hyundai Genesis has offers large 9.2 inch high definition touchscreen interface with 7 speaker Lexicon audio setup. Hid Xenon headlights with LED accents and dark chrome inserts chrome lower side moldings, heated steering wheel with distinctive look.

Genesis has a long list of standard features like leather seating surfaces, shift knob, leather trimmed steering wheel to make every journey much better. Its Drive Information System (DIS) customizes the setting to your liking- such as deciding whether doors lock when drive.
