UML all set to launch 400cc cruiser
UML, that is the joint association in between the American company, UM motors and India Lohia Auto Industries have declared the launch of their 400cc cruiser motorcycle for the Indian roads by the second quarter of this current year.

This motorcycle would be crafted with the latest safety features such as disc brakes designed with ABS technology. The cruiser bile, designed to run on the Indian roads, is created at an entry level, with a few new models launched initially with another new model to be added to its kitty in the coming few months. This bike also plans to go abroad. But India would gradually be evolved as a HUB to create higher-displacement engines. However the rand does not want to take the risk to going beyond 500 cc range, considering the facts in India.
UML also recently mentioned its plan to open dealerships in the western and southern regions in India. In the near-term, UML plans to appoint 75 dealers across 50 cities in India by July 2015.The JV’s commitment to make investments worth Rs 120 crore over a definite period seems to have taken shape too, as their strategy unfolds. For the time being, UML plans to use Lohia Auto’s current facility located at Kashipur, Uttarakhand for local operations.
UML also claims to announce opening dealerships abroad too. The company claims to invest Rs 120 crore over a set time period, Right now the brand is setting up the production at the Lohis’s Auto facility situated in Kashipur Uttarakhand for local operations.
