2014 Renault Duster Facelift Interiors Revealed
The new images show improved interior and additional features in the new Dacia Duster. It will make its premier at Frankfurt Auto Show.
Renault Duster made its global debut in 2010 and since then it’s been top selling product of the company. About three years later the Renault’s Romanian partner Dacia is going to introduce the facelift version of Duster. The new Dacia Duster will make its debut at Frankfurt Auto Show starting from tomorrow.
Based on Logan platform, the front of facelift Duster is revised with new grille and re-designed head lamps with built-in daytime running LED lights. Two-chrome plated strips and lower set of air-intake. The rear looks of the vehicle are more subtle. It sports 4x4 badge, redesigned taillights and chrome plated exhaust tip.
To improve the off-roading capabilities, Dacia offers 16-inch dark-metal alloy wheels claimed to be mud and snow worthy. New roof bars with slated supports are also additional in new facelift Dacia Duster.
Inside the cabin, the first ever released official images show upgraded dashboard, revised centre console, new instrument cluster audio controls, MediaNav touchscreen infotainment system with maps, steering mounted audio controls, and chrome plated handlebars.
Under the hood, the facelift Renault Duster will feature the same configuration; however the automaker might replacing the existing 1.6-litre petrol engine with 1.2-ltre turbocharged petrol motor that offers 122PS of power output.
This change will be very significant as the new 1.2-litre engine will attract lower excise duty and ultimately reduction in cost of vehicle.
