Suzuki Celerio with CVT gearbox at the ongoing Bangkok Motor Show
Under the Thai government norms the hatchback qualifies as an Eco car and it will be powered by the same K10B 1.0-liter 3-cylinder 12-valve engine powers the Indian Celerio developing the 67hp@6000 rpm and the peak torque of 90Nm@3500 rpm.
Suzuki Thailand today unveiled the Suzuki Celerio at the ongoing Bangkok Motor Show. In the Indian version Celerio equipped with the AMT, while the Celerio showcased there enabled with a CVT gearbox along with 5 speed manual gearbox. Under the Thai government norms the hatchback qualifies as an Eco car and it will be powered by the same K10B 1.0-liter 3-cylinder 12-valve engine powers the Indian Celerio developing the 67hp@6000 rpm and the peak torque of 90Nm@3500 rpm.
Suzuki will start Production and sale of Celerio in Thai market in May 2014.The Celerio is based on the Suzuki’s A WIND concept which had its international Debut at the Thailand International Expo in November last year.Celerio measure identical to the Indian version like 3600 mm in length, 1600mm in width, 1540 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2425mm and having a boot space of 254 litres.
Suzuki Thailand has reported that the manufacturing of Celerio will be done at its Rayong facility and would be exported to Europe as well. Which defines Maruti Suzuki temporarily ceasing exports to Europe.
