Motorsport hard workers bestowed at FMSCI

A number of 54 national champions through nine sections were rewarded for their enactment, besides a few distinct honors given through as well. Indian motorsport hard workers were acknowledged at the annual awards ceremonial of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), organized in Bangalore recently.

 

Sahara Force India lineup leading Vijay Mallya was the mouthpiece of the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his influence to motorsport and placing India on the global motorsport map by launching SFI Formula 1 team. C S Santosh established the special award for the second time   the Motorsport Man of the Year, with the Raymond Gautam Singhania Rolling Award, for his contribution and determined performance in his prime ever Dakar Rally with a cash award worth Rs. 2 lakhs.The last honor on the list, Motorsport Star of the Future was accessible to Arjun Maini for his presentation in the BRDC F4 and European F3 races.

 

Talking at the service, R Bharath Raj, president, FMSCI reported, that they are content and pleased to be distributing these awards to the 2014 winners in Bangalore. They hope these champs go to international occasions and keep the Indian flag spiraling towering. Motorsport activity is on the upsurge in India. They hope to get many other international occasions in our country and correspondingly expect that the sport rises even further in the forthcoming days.

 

Well indeed, Motorsport is on an all-time high in our country, the passion and love for the bikes has always been there, but now loving a sport attached to the dynamics of the riding these machines is something like an added gem and there are a lot of fanatics who would work on either participating, though that requires a lot of courage and an attitude too, but surely the bike lovers would love watching the sport as a part of their passion for this lovely vehicle.
