Self-driven rental cars company, ZoomCar, has protracted its services to Mumbai and Chennai. The company based in Bangalore, offers a range of drives to choose from in Mumbai like the Ford Figo, Honda City, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV500.
The rental car company is planning to expand its collection of cars into three times. They intend to add 2000 more cars under their name. At present the car is managing with 1000 vehicles. ZoomCar has been up and running successfully in Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune since it launched back in 2013. The company is now looking forward to make it big in other cities too. They are planning to extend up to 3000 cars now. In order to rent a car from the company, a customer can choose from optional durations starting from per hour or daily basis to monthly basis making the bookings on the company’s official website.
The car rentals start from INR 80 for a ford Figo to INR 140 for Mahindra XUV 500. Under this price one can cover 10 km per hour with an-add on charge of INR 12-15 per Km, varying upon the vehicle. There is a refundable security deposit of INR 5000.
The charges are inclusive of fuel charges, insurance and the rest in taxes. The payment can only be done by debit or credit cards. A person can drive around in this rental car all around the country, as they carry an All-India permit. However, the company has a slight difference in the charges from weekdays and weekends, by approx. 20 percent. In Chennai, there is a discount offer of 30 percent is floating right now.
