Volvo India, is all dressed up and ready to bring out their next generation new machine, XC90 on to the Indian roads, on the 12th of May 2015. The car is getting a lot of attention across the globe. Once on the rolls, the XC90 would have to compete with the current running segments like Audi Q7, BMW Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. This is the second launch in India, in 2015, by the maker from Sweden, primarily they ventured into V40 Cross country in March 2015 earlier.
The next generation XC90 would come in to exciting range of dynamos, each one in petrol and diesel versions, both in a 2.0L in a plug-in hybrid version. India most likely would be gifted the diesel option. Features like the 1969cc, four-cylinder turbo-diesel churning out a 222bhp at 4250rpm, and Torque of 470Nm, paired to an 8 speed auto transmission.
Other aspects like this one is a complete different machine, both outside and inshore, when compared to the older sibling. This SUV stand on the Volvo’s new SPA Scalable platform architecture and is way too lighter. Inshore, there is a large Model S inspired touch infotainment panel supporting Apple car play and Android Auto.
