Toyota registers growth again in December
Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 11,740 Domestic units in Dec 2014 in the domestic market as compared to 10, 648 domestic units in Dec 2013 thereby registering a growth of 10 percent.

The company exported 1,888 units of Etios series in Dec 2014. TKM registered sales of 13,628 (Domestic + Exports) units, in Dec 2014 as compared to 12, 622 (Domestic + Exports) units in Dec 2013. TKM registered an overall growth of 8%.

On newspaper reports regarding discontinuation of Excise Duty concessions he further added that "We will study the market reaction and announce the price revision of our products accordingly. We would have expected the Government to continue the excise duty concessions as this was supporting the revival of the auto industry after a rather sluggish two years. We hope that Government would give deeper consideration for the next Fiscal Budget on structural reforms for the auto sector which is an important part of the "Make in India" campaign.”
