Toyota India opens booking for the 2014 Corolla Altis
The Corolla Altis will be powered by the 8-litre VVT petrol engine produces 138bhp of power and 173Nm of torque and a 1.4-litre D-4D turbo diesel churns out power of 87bhp and 205Nm of torque.
Toyota India has open the booking for its all new Corolla Altis which was first showcased at 2014 Auto Expo and enabled with the new ‘Furia’ design philosophy but it is different from its American sibling which was exhibited during the same time.
The new car will be wider and longer than the existing model along with the extra 75mm of wheelbase. The car front gets the sharp lines for the bumpers and hood, a three-bar chrome grille and another smaller grille below the bumper. The headlamps enabled with the sporty look getting the LED inside.
The new Corolla Altis gets the redesigned alloy wheels. Toyota claims that this time the car has lower NVH levels than the existing car. With new rear bumpers and the tail lamps car become more classy. Interior of the car hosts the fully upgraded dashboard, and upholstery.
