Toyota Corolla has faulty airbags models recalled
The brand Toyota has declared a recall of nearly 7,100 units of the Corolla sedan to repair a fault in the fore passenger airbag equipped by a Japanese company called Takata. The recall is operative for Corollas produced between April 2007 and July 2008, and is the companys third recall for this particular variant model in India in the year 2015. However, Toyota is not the only company to have arranged for a recall for faulty airbags worldwide.

However, Toyota Corolla is not the only company to have arranged for a recall for faulty airbags worldwide. Sailing in the same boat, the manufacturer from Japan Nissan and Honda have also participated in such recalls on a global front earlier as well, that too with the airbags yet again being an issued with them too.
A while ago, within this year, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the local subordinate of Toyota had delt out a recall for Corolla models mass-produced during the time period from July 2003 and March 2007. Before to this, the manufacturer had announced one more recall in the month of November 2014 for 5,834 units of the diesel unit, made between June 2010 and May 2011, to swap defective parts that steered to the defect of the engine oil getting into the air intake system.
In a formal declaration, a representative from the Toyota Kirloskar Motor quoted that being a part of an extension of the present service movement being organized willingly by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), and in terms with the worldwide recall by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), they have announced for a special service movement for the passenger side airbag in the Corolla model to be prolonged to Corolla models customed during April 2007 till June 2008".This recall has involved more than 30 million cars internationally, making it the biggest recall till now.
