The last week was quite a buzz at the domestic automotive market in the country. Here we present a summarized version of the all the major happenings at the native car market of the country.There are a lot of car makers engaged into crafting their niche at the domestic market here in the country, some succeed, some remain a little far to attain the spot light, but indeed they all have a great scope in a country like ours, where the people splurge largely into cars and bikes.

-The week gone by saw the launch of two major and much awaited hatchbacks in the country, namely the most stylish SUV looking Renault Kwid along with the dynamic Ford Figo Hatchback new.
-Whereas Ford rolled out their car at a basic price of INR 4.29 lakhs, Renault surprizedthe market while introducing a car, carrying a base price of INR 2.56 Lakhs, being the ex-showroom price in the capital.
-While there were other launches like the Mercedes S600 Maybach that made a luxurious move into the native car market in the country at INR 2.6 Cr.
-The Bajaj RE60 that is called the QUTE now, however that would not be available in India to start with at present.
-Furthermore, Fiat India rolled out a teaser of the upcoming Abarth Punto EVO over their official website.
-The brand Maserati made its way yet another time and re-entered in India with a brand new dealership in Delhi.
-Fiat also gifted a brand new name to its imminent Linea replacement Aegea termed as the new Egea.
-The ARAI appoints a new President, Mr. Rajan Wadhera.
