The XBA, or named the Kayou is placed at the entry level for making it big in the Indian market. Also there are plans to push the car abroad as well.
The brand has introduced it as a budget car, with a price tag of INR 4 lakhs, but the car sports all the necessary elements, like fresh global layout, along with a 0.8L three cylinder petrol unit, mated to an automated manual gear box, other than the usual 5 speed manual gear. There is no possibility of a diesel engine in the car, as of now.
The car stand base on the CMF-A platform, once on the roads would be completing with the currently running Tata Nano, Alto from Maruti, redi-Go, Eon etc. It is expected to price between Rs.3-4 lakhs, ex-showroom in the capital.
