The new GD engines Toyota Fortuner 2016

The new GD engines would be providing power to the new remake of the Toyota Fortuner and the Innova. Toyota has revealed the all new GD a series of new diesel engines, at the Vienna Motors. The new line of the engines would be granting power to the new next generation machines like the Toyota Fortuner 2016, Toyota Hilux 2016 and Toyota Innova 2016.

 

 

The new GD series would be used in place of the KD series, existing in the current models. The 2.5 L 2KD FTV engine gives power to the Innova, on the Indian roads; however the same dynamo provides power to the Innova, Fortuner and Hilux, line up in the international market. The GD series consists of two options like a 2.4L and a 2.8L that would replace the current existing engines like 2.5L  2KD FTV and the 3.0L 1KD-FTV unit. Bothe the dynamos contain a special aspect called the ESTEC- Economy with Superior Thermal Efficient Combustion and a geometric turbocharger that would vary.

 

 

The 2.4L dynamo would be able to produce out, 160hp and 400 Nm of Force and the 2.8L would produce 177hp and 450Nm of Force. They both would be mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gear boxes.  The engine would roll out sitting inside the Toyota Hilux 2016, on the 21st May 2015. The Hilux would be out with two options available, power and the Eco in order to deliver better efficiency in fuel and roll out with a better power. It has been declared before as well, that the new Innova would be launched with a better engine efficiency and AMT in India, well that is almost materialized and should be out very soon.
