Renault Kwid: After the Lodgy MPV and a special edition of the Duster, the brand Renault is all set to roll out its extremely projected product - the Kwid - in the domestic market country. The car is anticipated for a launch by the end of this month or the next month of October. Standing on an all new CMF-A platform, the Renault Kwid would be powered by a 799cc, three-cylinder petrol unit that would be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission that produces out a 54 bhp and a torque of 72 Nm. As per the claims from the company, it boosts about being the most fuel efficient car in the country. Once launched, it would be competing with the like of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and Datsun Go.

Datsun Redi-GO-Inspired Hatchback: This would be another offering from the Nissan’s budget car brand Datsun, after the GO. The Redi-GO-inspired hatchback would be constructed on a CMF-A platform – the one that is shared with the Renault Kwid. The dynamo is also borrowed from Kwid being the similar 799cc, 3-cylinder petrol motor. As the brand so far does not have any small offering with a diesel unit, the small hatch coming up, might carry a one with just petrol and LPG options.

Tata Kite Hatchback: The folks at the Tata motors are engaged in crafting an all new hatchback that has been dubbed as KITE presently, in order to replace their age old Indica eV2. As of now, there is no concrete information and details from the company, about its mechanical specifications. While e would still have to wait until we get light on the same from the brand itself. While the testing is going on, so we assume the car would be out on the roads by the initial start of the following year 2016.

Tata Pelican 800: Other than the Kite cars, another hatchback and sub-compact sedan - the manufacturer is busy crafting one more such affordable and rational product that is dubbed as Pelican. This car would be grounded on the Nano platform, but with enhanced features carrying a bigger unit. There are rumors about the brand working upon 1000cc petrol and an 800cc diesel unit that is supposed to offer its power to the various entry-level cars, and also the upcoming Tata Pelican.
