Tata Zest basic model gets 75 PS Diesel Mill
It has always been a strategy of the brand to offer the 75 PS diesel unit to be equipped in the entry-level model XE only while the rest of the other five models were given to the 90 PS modelcarrying the similar engine
The basic model of the all new Tata Zest now acquires a 75 PS diesel unit!
Launched in the year 2014, in three diverse models:
- 90 PS Petrol
- 90 PS Diesel
- 75 PS Diesel
The petrol model was rolled out in four different models further on from here-– XE, XM, XMS and XT – and the diesel models had six variants- XE, XM, XMS, XMA, XT and XTA. It has always been a strategy of the brand to offer the 75 PS diesel unit to be equipped in the entry-level model (XE) only, while the rest of the other five models were given to the 90 PS modelcarrying the similar engine. However, owing to the changing strategies, amazing innovation and so much competition in the market, the makers have offered a low-spec mill over to the second as well as the third base models, precisely called the – XM and XMS in place of the 90 PS unit.
To add over the same, the brand Tata would now equip these new and upcoming offerings with alloy wheels on the high-end XT and XTA models to start with. The Tata Zest petrol model would acquire its power over the 1.2-LRevotronmill that would manage to churn out a 90 PS along with a 140 Nm, being paired to a manual gear box. E On the other hand, the Tata Zest diesel variant would extract its power over a mill sourced out by the Fiatcompany, being a 1.3-LQuadrajet mill, married to a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. Seems like, the makers never call it a day, and keep on offering some or the other innovation in the market, making it possible for the buyers to choose from a grand array of offerings. And certainly the market of today is highly volatile and does require this kind of a prompt approach towards it!
