Tata Motors will be announced to introduces its all new petrol engine in India on January 20, 2014. Within the Falcon series, company has decided to unveil compact sedan and hatchback (Vista refreshed) at the India Auto Expo 2014.
This new engine has developed on the basis of 1.2 Xeta motor which has been mated to the India for short span of time. It churns out power of 65 PS.Tata aim is to offer virtuous driving experience and fuel efficiency instead of outright performance. Recently Tata has discontinued the Vista D90 which was mated to the 1.4 litre engine produced out 90bhp.
Tata's diesel car has increased the sales figures and it will be interesting to see how this engine would facilitate the manufacturers to gain more market across the country.
