Audi India is all set to toss their revamped version of the Audi A6 sedan over to the Indian market on the 20th of September 2015. The reformed sedan would acquire a few modifications to the inshore along with alterations on the exterior as well. It is also reported the new model would contain an enhanced power generation as well.
The major and much anticipated modification, the Audi A6 obtains is the freshly planned head lamps along with dual-lined fiber optic LED strips. These are the similar Matrix LED head lights that are out on the lately launched RS6 Avant. This specification, though, is partial to the top-spec model.
More modifications comprise the transformed tail lamps along with brushed back indicators, an exclusive chrome band on the boot lid’s border and an innovative set of alloy wheels. The alterations are also expanded to the cabin where it obtains a new integrated infotainment system, MMI touch interface of Audi navigation system, power retractable monitors and an LTE port that provides online services from apps. The car would come prepared with quality 12-way electrically modifiable seats at the fore, a reverse parking camera carrying night vision along with adaptive cruise control.
Audi has preserved the engine line-up for the make-over Audi A6 and it is motorized by the similar 2.0-litre TDI engine such as the present variant. However, this time the power has been amplified from 175bhp to 187bhp. This power plant would arrive paired the 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and would obtain Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system as regular.
This transformed variant of the Audi A6 was presented at the Paris Motor Show back in the year 2014 and the maker would at last roll out for the market in India over the following month.
We assume that the manufacturer also empowers the Indian-spec A6 with massage and ventilation alternatives for the seats that are out and about adorning the European markets.
However as well as the car is concerned, upon its launch it would have to struggle with the competitors like Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and the Jaguar XF in India.
