Now Maruti Cars Would "touch and Feel" Too

New Maruti dealerships for upscale models coming with a unique ‘Touch and Feel’. The soon to be launched S-cross and YRA could be retailed through these stops.

As per the reports today, India’s biggest CAR manufacturer, MARUTI SUZUKI, would open designated stops to sell upscale models. The news from papers suggests that car models priced INR 10 lakhs or higher shall be out on these stops, the plan should be out within a year.

The much awaited S-cross, that is to be launched in May this year, shall give competition to current selling Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano.

To start with Maruti is planning to open up 30-35 such stops, in metros cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai (mainly because of these city’s buying power).

These stops will have a unique “touch and feel" and will be dedicatedly working on customers opting for other brands like Honda, Hyundai or VW. As they have a better hold on to the market for selling upscale models.

Previously, upscale cars like Kizashi and Grand Vitara haven’t done too well on the Indian customers. But the brand positively plans to launch its newer segments that revolve around INR 10 Lakh.

The awaited SX4 S-Cross will be an attempt from Maruti to give a good competition to the current running variants. Later this year, Maruti has another important release of the YRA premium hatch back, that would give competition to a lot of current running variants.
