Nissan rolls out new-gen Datsun GO from Chennai plant
Nissan has rolled out its first car Datsun Go today from the assembly line at the Renault Nissan car plant in Oragadam, near Chennai. Initially Nissan do the production from its Chennai plant, later on this year Nissan will start production in Indonesia and Russia.

Datsun Go was showcased in Delhi last July and will be available for sale in market by March 2014. Toshiyuki Shiga, Vice-Chairman, Nissan Motor Co, said. A second Datsun will be launched by the year-end and a third in three years. Nissan will showcase its concept car at the auto expo tomorrow. Datsun will ultimately capture half of Nissan's sales in India.
