Nissan all ready to take Luxury to a higher price
The new Nissan PATROL will be imported as a CBU and would give a tough time to the current running Toyota LAND CRUISER LC200.The PATROL too is expected to be highly priced at around INR 1 Cr.
Nissan is all set to introduce a new SUV “The Patrol” in India, which is likely to be priced at INR 1 Cr. According to a report Auto car India, Nissan India plans to bombard the streets with their Giant SUV, The Patrol. The maker of the Brand originated in Japan is planning to present the model ion an event that will be held at the capital of India.
This Giant SUV would be powered by 5.6liter V8 petrol engine. The Brand interestingly doesn’t focus on the sales a lot, but they believe that this segment would set their image apart in the Indian Market. After the X-TRAIL got discontinued, the brand has been known for the low cost models like Sunny and Micra. Although across the Globe, Nissan is the second largest king in the car making business right after Toyota. Nissan comprises of SUVs like the “Juke, Qashqai, Xterra, Murano, Pathfinder, Armada and the Patrol”.

The model would feature a 7 speed Auto-Transmission. The Patrol would be powered by 5.6 liter V8 engine with a 400 bhp and 570 NM Force. The model would be out with three variants-
- 6-speed manual
- 5 -speed automatic
- 7-speed automatic
The new model would have to fight for its space with the current running Audi Q7 and the Mercedes GL class.
