Mercedes Maybach S500 to be Made in India

The folks at the ,luxurious brand Mercedes is all set to assemble their latest offering the Maybach S 500 at the Chakan plant in the our country. While it seems like the auto makers are really inclined towards the Make in India initiative as it is indeed profitable for the country as well as for the makers bringing the costing down. A lot of makers have invested in bringing down their plants here in India and getting their products assembled here. Mercedes-Benz has started to produce the Maybach S500 at their Chakan plant in India. This makes the plant their second one in the entire world right after the German where originally the Maybach S500 is feigned.

Mercedes just recently introduced the Maybach S600 in the domestic market of the country, however there are no affirmed plans of manufacturing the same here in the Indian subcontinent, and this would certainly brought in as a CBU import. The Mercedes S500 would be carrying a price tag of INR 1.67 crore, being the ex-showroom price in Pune whereas the Mercedes Maybach S600 would cost around INR 2.6 Cr. While this step indeed would help the brand to establish its products well in the country. Bringing in more accessibility and connection to the cars, in terms of a reduced pricing scheme, placing it closer to the potential buyers in the market
