According to the reports floating over the web, the brand Maruti Suzuki is all gearing up to roll out the all new Maruti ‘YJC’ dubbed for the 7-seat Maruti Wagon R in the month of September 2016. There are reports of the company to begin the assemblage of the various components of the car, while once the gets assembled in a production ready stage, the testing would start following the same. As per sources the diesel engine in the YJC is expected to be fortified with the 0.8-L DDiS 125 unit. Maruti, which is deceptivelydirectingannual gross sales of more than 80,000 units for the 7-seat Wagon R, is supposed to offer both the petrol as well as diesel models.
As per the reports floating over the web, the brand Maruti is expected to either house the 1.0-L three-cylinder K-Series mill or the 1.2-L K-Series unit in the upcoming big car. The diesel option however, will use the 0.8-liter two-cylinder DDiS 125 variant that is already doing great in the Celerio. The YJC would keep the vehicle in under the 4 meter length segment, and wouldcomplete with the Datsun Go+. The Maruti Wagon R, 7 seater was showcased at the 2013 Indonesia International Motor show. Although we assume there would be number of changes before the production model comes out.
