Maruti to set up brand centres across India

The strategy acknowledges significance as the first phase of its Gujarat plant is now founded entirely by its Japanese parent, Suzuki Motors, through a wholly-owned unit. This allows Maruti to invest its cash surplus of Rs 7,000 crore in other areas. At the beginning Maruti will set up its centres at 16 most renowned and strategic market few shortlisted places are like Bangalore, Kochi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Chennai and Indore
Maruti Suzuki’s senior market executive said “The Company is in the process of acquiring land across India at different important locations, which are either state capitals or located in the vicinity of its regional marketing offices," "with the successful concept of the brand centre situated at our head office in upmarket Vasant Kunj in south Delhi, it is anticipated that these 16 centres would purely engage customers to our new products and modern technologies that the company plans to debut in India
This time Maruti is acquiring land across different posh localities with the budget of Rs 50-60 crore for each location, it might be the total investment of Rs 1,000 crore. company would develop efficacious structures at the centres, These centres would not run any commercial business there like selling or servicing of cars. All these centres will develop only to cater brand.
Maruti is now concentrating to expand its portfolio with the development in the new segments like multi-utility, sport-utility vehicles and crossovers.
