The Maruti S-Cross is the introductory car for the 1.6-L MJD diesel motor in India. Approaching from the similar Fiat engine cluster as the 1.3-L motor that a huge portion of the Maruti cars already make use of, the bigger engine is housed with a changeable geometry turbocharger and develops 118bhp and best-in-class 320Nm of torque. The top-end variant would be overloaded with all the nicks and nacks like the automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen with navigation and bluetooth, cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 16-inch alloy wheels and much more.
The Maruti S-Cross would complete alongside the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Ford EcoSport and the lately rolled out Hyundai Creta.
