Now, top enhance their support and commitment to its customers, they have stepped forward yet another time.
Maruti Suzuki India limited, has organized a set up basically to enhance the skills in its workers and employees, in order to deliver the best to the consumers. Now, the company would be joining hands at the government operated Industrial Training Institutes, in order to run their new Automobile Skill enhancement Centers.
Every such center would be highly equipped with a model work shop area, so as to provide the knowledge in practical use. There would be trainers, taking the training sessions as a faculty, with the world class equipment and the required tools. They would also help its students to look for a suitable job for themselves. As they would also seek help from the local Maruti Suzuki Service networks. Maruti has been quoted investing 5 Cr. over in this project.
This step, wouldn’t just end up in one go, they have a plan to train around 2100 students, also from the Industrial Training Institutes, annually. Post the training; the students can opt to apply for a job, in any of the Automobile companies. Maruti plans to set up the ASECs in cities like Jammu, Srinagar, Patiala, Kolkata, Mangalore, Kochi and many more. Mr. Pankaj Narula, Executive Director in Service Dpt. Reportedly said, that introducing this initiative.
Maruti would be able to help and support to the effort put in by the nation in order to produce employment through skill development and enhancement. To add on the Training being a page of the ITI curriculum, students would be accessed 50 days training by MSIL trainers in genres in relation with car service, repairs and maintenance. Students trained at the ASECs would be recognized with an add-on skill training certificate.
