As per a report in the Economic Times, the car has been booked for the first 21,000 bookings since it launched on the 26th October 2015.The Baleno is traded entirely over the Maruti’s NEXA chain of dealerships that have received more than 56,000 customers coming in to enquire about the latest hatchback’s launch. If you wish to book the all new Maruti Baleno, you’d have to wait for more than 8 weeks for the entire range of its offerings.
The Baleno arrives carrying the 1.2-L K-Series petrol mill along with the 1.3-L DDiS diesel plant matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Talking about the petrol, customers can choose the CVT transmission available on the Delta model. The pricing of the car starts between the INR 4.99 – 7.01 lakh for the petrol unit, and INR 6.16 – 8.11 lakh for the diesel, being the ex-Showroom price in the capital. The rest of the spectacular features of the car talks about an ABS, EBD and dual airbags at the front in all the models offered by the car, while it competes with renowned Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and the VW Polo.
