A special edition model termed as the Maruti S-Cross Premia has been launched while the car is out and available at the various dealerships in the tier I cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. It is basically the Delta version of the DDiS 200 diesel model, along with supplementary accessories, while carrying a price tag of INR 8.99 lakhs, being the ex-showroom in the city. The S-Cross Premia acquires four major add-ons that are alloy wheels, fog lights, reverse parking assist along with a camera and a Garmin 12.7 cm (5 inch) navigation system. The other aspects of the car are carried forward, being similar to the lower-mid level, Delta model of the S-Cross.
The Maruti S-Cross DDiS 200 Delta model is estimated at INR 9.15 lakhs, being the ex-showroom cost in the capital. It is equipped with just a very basic audio system carrying a CD player along with a remote, a manual AC unit and steel wheels along with full wheel caps. The S-Cross is traded certainly through Maruti’spremium range of dealerships, the NEXA chain of showrooms. It is rolled out being housed with the engine sourced by the MultiJet diesel units in the domestic market of the country. The 1.3-Lunit is matched to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 1.6-L unit acquires a 6-speed manual gearbox
