Maruti is ready with their latest and primary Hybrid car, namely the Maruti Ciaz, SHVS Hybrid, that claims to have an enhanced mileage.

Now in order to enhance the sales and the popularity of this much loved, mid-sized sedan, the Maruti Ciaz would be out now in a mild hybrid diesel variant of the vehicle in the domestic market of our country. While the demo cars of the SHVS versions have already arrived at the Maruti Suzuki outlets and as per the reports, there are a few dealerships already started to take up orders and booking for the same.
The new upcoming model would be termed as the Maruti Ciaz SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki), the new model would acquire a better power battery, inbuilt starter generator along with the start-stop technology that would support it produce an enhanced mileage.
Although at the moment, the Maruti Ciaz’s present diesel variant make out a certified 26.21km/l, the Ciaz SHVS would bring the number up to more than 30km/l.
Suzuki's latest mild hybrid systems slots in an ISG (integrated starter generator), offers engine power support bring in use the motor and attain a better power renewal. Attached with ISG, this braking system also supports in the engine start-stop expertise that mechanically stops the engine at a traffic light and restarts upon leaving the clutch.
