Well, out now are the reports for the much talked about and awaited small car from Renault, namely the Kwid. Even with the launch, quite a few months ahead, supposedly around the festive corner, but it’s time to discuss the technicalities and the specifications on the machine. The car should be out carrying a price tag of INR 3 lakhs, once on the roads, would give a sweat time to the currently running Maruti Alto, Eon from Hyundai, Tata GenX Nano and many more in the similar segment.
The all new Kwid is built in a completely new platform of CMF-A, that has been constructed on a deal between the Nissan and Renault. This dynamo would have a capacity to produce a 55bhp and 130Nm, as per the company. This is the smallest dynamo ever created by the brand. Also claiming to give out the best in class average. The same car is supposed to launch overseas as well, though the main plant for the machine will be at Chennai, and the company has a focus in the domestic Indian market for yielding the maximum profits.
The design and the layout the Kwid sports, seems like a mixture of the designs from Renault’s earlier provisions. More of a hatchback design has been gifted to the car, basically to make it look different we assume, looking a little aggressive, being in a small size although. There are other features like the driver air bag to opt for, along with a navigator, equipped with a digitalized instrument panel, with an engine, having a capacity of 800cc, three-cylinder, petrol unit. Well, we assume the car would be giving a make-over to the small car segment currently on the Indian roads, and the rest needs to be watched upon its launch.
