India is acting behind finding the irregularities with Volkswagen
The folks at the world?s renowned brand Volkswagen have finally admitted that they had been playing around with the diesel engines in order to manipulate the emission analysis and their results, by the help of software technologies
As it is all over the media about VW brand playing around with its engine line up in term of showcasing a better competency. Now the brand has finally admitted the same.The folks at the world’s renowned brand Volkswagen have finally admitted that they had been playing around with the diesel engines in order to manipulate the emission analysis and their results, by the help of software technologies. The ARAI is in action after the plea from the Govt. in order to further investigate the matter ahead. Right it still needs to be seen if the figures were disturbed in Indian as well, likely to the ones in the US. While in the US, the reputed and renowned Auto manufacturer has admitted of using software in order to play with the figures at the emission tests. Other than these reports, there are clams coming from the German Govt. as well, against the brand having played around with the numbers in their vehicle for the European market as well.
As per Mr. Rajan Katoch, Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) to investigate the Volkswagen’s Indian line up and look if there are similar issues here as well. The heads at the ARAI have noted down on the charges on the Volkswagen Company, to make sure those measures as well inspected in India. They would be going ahead and observing the matter ahead as well, and make sure all the rules, guidelines and the regulations are met well within the limits. While the officials at the brand could not comment anything at the moment, all they could say was that right now the investigations are on, and this is not the best time to comment about anything. The breach and the fuss is all about specialized software that was installed in the VW cars in order to detect about the emission control test and at the same time low down its pollution levels, simultaneously. It basically concealed the fact that the pollution level in the US for the diesel cars were 40 times higher that the limit allotted by the US govt. Well, this sounds really scary and it’s high time, manufacturers stop doing such malpractices in order to save the world and the people in it, precisely on humanitarian grounds
