India bound Maruti Baleno reached Japan

This time, we are here talking about the Maruti Suzuki brand that has started to export the Baleno model from here on. The hatchback’s initial lot has been dispatched from the Indian ports towards Toyohashi Port in Japan.
Japan has already received the brand’s hatchback lot at their land. This indeed is the first venture when the brand Maruti Suzuki has exported a particular make from the brand’s home market. The Baleno has been introduced in the market, giving a tough call to the already existing Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz, while standing tall on the brand new platform. It is this platform that would be sitting underneath the to be launch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis as well. Suzuki would be offering the petrol model of the Baleno in Japan. A new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbocharged unit that would be able to churn out a 110bhp would also be a chosen one for this line up. This particular engine has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. As far as the Indian market is concerned, The Baleno carrying this new engine would be hurled in to the market by the mid of the current year, right ahead of the festive season in the country.
