IIT New Delhi has been synonymous for great revolution and out of the box creativity. This time around the BHU unit is in the headlines for a revolution that they have created, bringing in innovation at its best. The university has designed and developed a solar car all by themselves, their creative bent of mind as well as inventive use of technology.
They claim to bring the car and launch it in the market very soon!
This car would run on solar energy too, while proving to be economical as well as environment friendly. This is certainly the need of the hour. The mechanical engineering wing of the esteemed institute has floated this car out on the 16th of June, 2016.
The car also has an option to run on diesel, if in case you had been thinking the car would stop just about when the sun sets!
A closer looks at the solar car invention
The roof of the car is design with a solar power plant unit that would capture the powerful rays of the sun. Along with a team of expert minds, headed by S K Shukla, along with the project manager Dr JV Tirki, was quoted saying that the electrical components of the car and the solar power unit have been connected and the result seems to be positive enough to get the car to the commercial market. This is the future and certainly the days with innovation on roads in not so far now.
The car would be as normal like any other make or model. With not much emphasis done on the look and the design of the car. This would be the ride for all those who love their environments and wish to save on their pockets too. The increasing pollution levels and the detoriating environment is certainly asking for such inventive steps and a car running on a clean fuel like solar power is the answer to all our troubles, undoubtedly!
