Hyundai Xcent sedan launched at a starting price of Rs 4.66 lakh
Hyundai claimed the fuel efficiency of Diesel engine at 24.4 kmpl and the petrol version would deliver the mileage of 19.1kmpl (ARAI approved).The Xcent was earlier showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.
Hyundai today launch its all new sedan Xcent with the starting price of Rs 4 .66 lakh. The new Xcent based on the Grand i10 platform, it will directly compete against the likes of Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze.
Xcent comes up with both the petrol and diesel guise, The petrol version powered by the 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol develops power of 83PS@6000rpm and peak torque of 11.6 kgm at 4000 rpm.while the Diesel Version equipped with the 1.1 litre second generation U2 CRDi engine it churns out 72PS@4000 rpm of power and peak torque at 18.4kgm at 1750-2500.

Xcent sports the dual tone rear bumper and the front bumper with integrated spiler design, diamond cut alloy wheels, and also gets the swept back headlamps and wrap-around tail lamps with chrome insert.On the inside profile, the Xcent looks quite similar to the Grand i10 and almost the feature are also same.
XCENT enabled with the segment first features such as Keyless push button start, Auto folding mirrors,rear parking camera and sensors and elctro chromic rear view mirror.
The company plans to launch new vehicles in the next two years, including a compact sports utility vehicle (SUV), to consolidate its position in the market.
