Hyundai Kona Electric SUV Car launched in India
2019 Hyundai Kona Electric would be launching in India around, When launched the Kona Electric will be the first all-electric SUV in India, the Kona Electric looks more or less similar to the standard car.
The Korean carmaker has launched the first electric car called Hyundai Kona Electric and it is also the first electric SUV car in India. It is to be launched by Hyundai in India by today only. Hyundai Kona Electric price range is expected in India around Rs. 25 lakh. It will be accommodated with 39.2 kWh battery pack. The electric motor will produce 136 hp of power along with 395 Nm of peak torque.
It will be paired with a single speed automatic transmission. 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds will be a speed parameter of Kona. 8-inch touch screen infotainment system will also be there in Kona. The Hyundai Kona Exteriors will be enhanced by a charging port located at the front. A twin headlight design with LED headlamps and LED DRLs will also be there. Other features will be LED tail lights and 17-inch alloy wheels in Kona.
Hyundai Kona Interiors will be possessing 7-inch digital cluster and paddle shifters for regenerative braking control. Hyundai Kona Range is 452 km on a single full charge. The Kona Electric has a length of 4180, the width of 1800, the height of 1570mm and a wheelbase of 2600. Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is the electric motor used in Kona and Voltage is 356V for Kona.
Seating capacity is of 5 people at a time in Kona. This model is well equipped with digital driver?s display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, satellite-linked navigation, dual-zone climate control, a head-up display, auto-dimming IRVM, sunroof, cruise control and more. The DC-based fast charging setup can be installed in any parking premises.
