The brand Hyundai is working hard towards make its range of models all the more safer and better for the market. After the enhancements given to the model’s range of Elite i20, i20 Active and Verna, Hyundai is now working over the smaller cars in its kitty. The entry-level Hyundai Eon is made safer while being equipped with a driver airbag kept optionalin all the variants apart from the base D-lite model. This specificationwould continue to be regular in the top-model Sportz variant. As the Grand i10 is being dropped in the Astarange, it certainly indicates that the car would be available in four different models, namely the Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta (O). The Grand would now be equipped along with a driver side airbag as a regular product across all models along with the passenger side airbag being offered from the Sportzmodel and beyond that.
Hyundai’s compact sedan, the Xcent was equipped with an ABS as a regular aspect across all models earlier this year. In this most up-to-dateamendment, a driver airbag is standard across all variationsalong with the passenger that would enhance the top-spec SX and SX (O) models. Talking about the price difference, the Grand i10 would be priced at nearly INR 11,000 over and above the model cost. While the price variations for the Eon and Xcent are yet to be established though we consider that the Xcentwould incorporate a similar price trudge, similar to the Grand i10 as they are based on the similar platform. Well, considering the road injuries and fatal accidents, the consumers should now consider the safety of their vehicles to be the first priority above the looks and the performances, what do you think?
