Honda to increase Amaze production to reduce delivery Time
Honda will increase production of Amaze in order to reduce delivery time period, by starting a third shift at its Greater Noida plant from November 2013.
Honda Cars India Ltd gets bestselling and good response of customer from newly lunches Amaze sedan. Now company will increase production of Amaze in order to reduce delivery time period, by starting a third shift at its Greater Noida plant from November 2013.
“In car market day by day increases the demand for Amaze and we still continue to have more booking. In order to reduce delivery time period, we have decided to start a third shift at the Greater Noida plant by November” HCIL Senior Vice-President Jnaneshwar Sen Said.
He said company focused to reduce time period of delivery and production. Now we are producing 440 cars per day, including the Amaze at the plan in two shifts.
Amaze increases sales record of Honda India and right now the estimated order backlog is around 20000 units and the company has been delivered selling over 5500 units per month since the model was launched in April this year. Honda Amaze houses a 4 Cylinder, 1.5 liter, DOHC i-DTEC diesel unit which makes out 100PS of power @ 200Nm and 3600Rpm of torque @ 1750Rpm. The car provides 25.8Kmpl of mileage with the help of five speed manual gear box.
The Japanese Luxury car maker had launched the Amaze at a price range of Rs.4.99 lakh to Rs.7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
