Honda Motor launching three new models by the end of next fiscal
Honda Motors plans to launch three new models by the end of the next fiscal year to increase the sales in Asian markets. The ever demanded sedan, CITY, is coming on Indian roads on 7 January 2014, with new diesel and petrol engine, which will provide better fuel efficiency.
Honda Motors plans to launch three new models by the end of the next fiscal year to increase the sales in Asian markets. The ever demanded sedan, CITY, is coming on Indian roads on 7 January 2014, with new diesel and petrol engine, which will provide better fuel efficiency. A multipurpose vehicle Mobilio, and the next generation hatchback jazz will equipped with the newly developed diesel engine, which is already being equipped with the Honda Amaze.
Honda Motor India president and CEO Yoshiyuki Matsumoto said at Tokyo Motor Show. "We will be expanding the range of vehicles in India by launching at least three new models by the end of next fiscal ”. Honda is focusing more on Asian markets and expecting from India and Indonesia to account for half of its production.
The Indian car market has good hold on small car segments and most of the foreign manufacturers are focusing continuously on this segment to increase their sale. In India one out of every three car sold is a small car.
