Honda launched City 2014 in Thailand market
Cosmetically and mechanically, this car carries the same specification of the Indian model with the addition of new color, sporty blue metallic.
After a global launches of 2014 Honda City in India, the Honda Motors has launched in Thai Market. The basic version has been priced at 5.5 lakh Baht (Rs 10.5 lakh) and the top SV+ variant priced at 7.49 lakh baht (Rs 14.3 lakh).
Commenting about the new car, Executive Vice President, Honda Automobile (Thailand), Pitak Pruittisarikorn, said, “The all-new Honda City is the fourth generation, and has been developed from the previous three generations to come equipped with a full range of ideal features that exceed the diverse expectations of customers in the sub-compact car segment. I believe that the all-new Honda City would set a new standard beyond the sub-compact class.”
The new City is equipped with a four-cylinder 1.5-litre i-VTEC unit churns out maximum power of 117bhp and 146Nm of torque. The car comes in six variants with either a five-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT automatic gearbox (the City Automatic in India continues to get the old five-speed CVT).Interiors and features inside the car is similar as the current version.
