The petrol engine has been inspired by Brio, and is speculated to have a capacity to pull out 88ps and 109 Nm of force, while speaking on the diesel dynamo, it is expected to make 100PS and 200 Nm of force.
The car is expected to be on offer with a 5-speed manual and CVT transmission, and the diesel unit would just get teamed up with the manual gear box. Inshore the Jazz takes from the New City, the dashboard lining, hosting a touch screen infotainment along with navigation, and a camera for reversing the car. We could also got to notice the wing mirrors running on power. Seeking the safety of the car, the Jazz would be out with twin air bags in the front, equipped with ABS along with EBD.
The new car is being crafted at the Tapukara plant, in Rajasthan. Earlier there were a lot of components being imported, however, Jazz has been assembled with almost 90 percent of local parts, sorely developed in our country. Once the jazz would hit the roads along with its new style and features, it would be facing off the current running Hyundai elite i20, Maruti Swift, Tata Bolt and VW polo. It is expected to be out with a price tag of Rs. 5-7 lakhs, ex-showroom price in the Capital. Would be seen on the roads by July 2015.
