Ford Endeavour spied testing on the lanes of Chennai

The all new SUV that is supposed to roll out this year has been covers in spy Shots being tested on the roads of Chennai. The SUV has been spied on the roads of Chennai on a test, by an online blog reader. The launch has been dated for the end of this year. It has been speculated the brand would be pulling out the machine in two variants, 2.2L Diesel engine and the 3.2L diesel variant.

 

The new Endeavour has been showcased at the Bangkok Motor Shown in Bangkok earlier. The new powerful machine has been estimated around INR 24.27lakhs. The Brand platters the SUV in three versions, the manual and automatic transmissions and 2WD and 4WD. The SUV would get its power by a 2.2L four cylinder diesel, a 2.0Lturbocharged four cylinder petrol and 3.2L five cylinder diesel dynamos to choose from. Ford India also intends to bring out the both the diesel engines with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

 

The new Endeavour is expected to be out with a shorter height than the current model. The brand has done a reduction to the wheel base too. Although there has been an increase to the ground clearance with a new Terrain Management System, for a better control and a balance when the car out on roads.

 

Inshore, the model sports upscale and high end materials that is likely to give a break to the traditional aspects of the machine. Powered third row seating chairs, 9 speaker audio system along with a subwoofer, an 8 inch touchscreen display with a sunroof, are a few of the add ons. The model is expected to be wisely priced at INR 20-25 lakhs ex showroom, likely to out on the Indian roads by the end of 2015.
