Electric vs Fuel Cell car Which one will win in the long run?

In this race Hyundai Motor is ahead as they are ready to launch Its Fuel cell vehicle TUCSON in US by next spring. To attract the customers Hyundai will offer unlimited refueling and maintenance option at a flat monthly fee with down payment. This can give head to head challenge to Electric car.

A fuel cell vehicle can produce electricity by carrying hydrogen in a tank and combining it with oxygen from the air. In another words you can say it an electric car, but it doesn’t contains batteries. Instead energy is stored in the form of hydrogen, which makes refueling as simple as for petrol and diesel car.

This can gives a long rung to TUCSON of about 480km.This is the range of top end model TESLA S but TUCSON is little faster. Next year both cars will compete in California, The world’s Green Lab.TESLA S seems to be a winner at the moment.

There is a concern about Hydrogen and its Safety. First one is how to make Hydrogen available at Fueling stations and it’s not an easy task to brought hydrogen to fueling stations, and its safety concern poses serious questions as it is a inflammable substance.
