BMW 7 seater X7 SUV launching soon

BMW the luxury car maker has confirmed the launch of the new X7 SUV which is reported by some automobile magazine, though it is not yet confirmed on which date it will be launch but it is anticipated that the car would be launch any time before 2018.

It is being considered that this is the biggest ever SUV by BMW, X7 will be manufactured at company plant in Spartanburg, North America. The announcement of this new product was made to mark the 20 year celebrations of Spartanburg plant. Yet the details regarding X7 as not revealed but it is expected to be built on the same wheelbase as that of the X5 and X6 while it will comes up as a four wheel drive.

BMW X7 will be powered by the two engine options with 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder units which comers with the promising fuel economy and reduced auto emissions. The X7 SUV might come with the price tag of £65,000 whereas it directly compete against the likes of Range Rover, Mercedes GL, Cadillac Escalade and Infiniti QX80.

Along with the announcement regarding launch of the new SUV, the company has also revealed information about the investment plan of $1 billion up to 2016 at the company’s Spartanburg facility where the company produces X3, X4, X5 and X6 models.
