Audi S3 Sportback Offered With 4G LTE Technology

Audi S3 Sportback will be the first car to possess 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) on board to provide high-speed data hotspot. The board on Audi S3 Sportback will be able to show videos, audio, big files and other data in a very short interval of time. SIM card would be inserted into the MMI system of the car for the working of 4G LTE system.

SIM card will provide a connection between internet, environment and occupant. The car is made into a wireless hotspot and one can use the internet independently. Many of the functions can be carried out within the vehicle. If the passenger wants to make a video call while the driver wants to use Audi connect services, they can use them independently.

The vehicle is provided with Audi connect services and WLAN hotspot. It is available as an option with Audi S3 Sportback. According to the company press release LTE technology is very important for the Audi connect with networking or the car and environment.

Facebook and twitter posts can be done from the vehicle as vehicle comes enabled with text-to-speech program. E-mail and SMS dictator are also introduced in the vehicle. According to the company, they will be providing more services enabled on 4G LTE.

The technology present in Audi S3 Sportback will extended to rest of the A3 variants available by the month of September. LTE is available in many markets of Europe and US. Internet use during the run comes to work when the wireless system is connected to car’s MMI interface.
