Also, as reported by a Carwale reader , Mr Arun Munagala, The Audi Q7 was found testing on the local street of Mumbai. The lead SUV , that has been released at the DETROIT AUTO SHOW in January is already available on pre-order foe its market in Europe, however the deliveries would start from June 2015. Now talking about the pricing, It is planned at 60,900Euros (INR 40.64 lakhs), for the diesel and 62,900 Euros (INR 41.97 lakhs) for the petrol.
Model Specifications
The Brand’s Giant Beauty and luxury SUV stands tall on the MLB platform, that comprises of steel and aluminum (that is strengthening) and also making the model less bulky with 325 Kg lighter than the previous model. The valuation is like 5. 05m length wise 1.97m wide, 1.74 m tall and 2.99m at the base.
As per the reports only two engine variants will be introduced. Bothe the variants will have a 3.0 liter V6 units. THE PETROL engine would give out 333hp and 440 NM of Force. THE DIESEL engine would pull out 272hp and 600 NM of Force.
Audi claims that as the model went in for a weight Loss program, the diesel variant has an increased its efficiency by 26 percent and the petrol variant has increased its efficiency by 23 percent as compared to current running model. (Impressive). Both engines come with the standard 8-speed DSG automatic transmission and Quattro AWD system.
According to a Report received last month, The Brand is working towards a ‘HIGH PERFORMANCE RS VERSION ‘ of the Q7. It is also developing an ‘e-tron’ plug in hybrid Q7 that would release 367 bhp and 700 NM of Force. This particular model has been a part of the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, and should be launched in UK by the end of this year.
India would have to wait for the launch of this upscale model by this year end.
