Reports and sources claim the Giant Luxury Brands Audi and Mercedes fight with each other in order to compete and win. Mercedes Benz India, reported a growth of 40 percent supported by the sales that took place in between January- March 2015. Managing 3,566 units for sale, gives a glimpse of the best till now sales for the German Luxury Car Brand. Also adding on the 17.5 percent growth the brand could secure during the last fiscal 2014-2015 by selling 11,213 units.
FY2014-2015 was full of the Mercedes launches specially the imported ones. The initial model was the E-class E350 CDI. Backing that was its cheapest crossover in India the GLA-Class, which was soon taken over by the new C-Class, and the CLA-Class. The booming 40% growth backed by other multiple sales records achieved in the first quarter of 2015, is indeed an insight of the brand’s dedication and hard work for a strong customer support. The company believes in 'Live the Best' philosophy yielding rich dividends and aiming of achieving a double digit growth moving in the right direction.
While Mercedes has lined up new products to boost its position in the market, its competitor, Audi has the best sellers A4 and A6 in its handbag, but we need to admit the machines are old. Although there have been reports of the A4 new being tested, but still the launch for it is quite away right now. Audi would no doubt need a few line ups to freshen and strengthen its position in the country with people who need and love changes. And there is another fact, that even after reported sales hike for Mercedes; Audi’s sales still remain larger at 11,292 units sold. So keep a tab on this space for seeking information about these two rivals and much more.
