All new Ford EcoSport Facelift
The new EcoSport would be highlighted in the Mars Red body color front. There is no mechanical difference in the model built for the Indian roads though. Was introduced in mid-2013, Ford India would be looking to bring out the facelift around mid 2016.
The Fore Fascia of the EcoSport seems to be taking a make-over. The fore looks more edgy now, than its previous model. The new EcoSport would be highlighted in the Mars Red body color front. There is no mechanical difference in the model built for the Indian roads though.
There is a report on assumptive explanation about the changes that are to be followed in the ford EcoSport facelift that would be put by the First half on 2016, as per the reports. The pictures received show the model to carry the front from the new Ford Edge, along with a dropsically designed grille, the headlamp panel looks slimmer with the fog lamp space in shape of an “L”.
The EcoSport is at present the best-selling model for Ford India selling around 4,000 models per month. Other than sales at the local market, the made in India EcoSport is sent out to over 40 countries across the globe that includes markets in Europe, Australia and South Africa.
Although, the EcoSport was criticized in the market of Europe, as it was considered too bold out there, and the company has tries to become sober in order to hold on to the market by removing the spare wheel from the rear of the car, and that has also helped in a better sound issues and the suspension system.
Other than superficial changes, the EcoSport make-over for the Indian market would similarly offer the 1.5- petrol and diesel dynamos, and the 1.0-L three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine.
