2014 Chevrolet Spark EV can be leased from $199 per month
Chevrolet Spark will be available in state of California at lease of $199 per month for 36 months. The buyer though will have to pay a security deposit worth $999 initially. This offer makes this smallest car of USA the most economical car in terms of mileage as well as price.
Chevrolet has been trying its level best to make its electric vehicle a preferred choice among consumers. The Spark EV manufacturer recently announced that, the low mileage version of its car may be bought on lease for 36 months. Making terms and conditions further clear it added that the buyer will have to deposit an amount of $999 initially as security amount and rest it will have to pay $199 installment per month. Apart from being the cheapest one, this car also happens to be the smallest EV in town.
According Chevrolet dealers, the retail price figure of this car amounts to $19, 995 after adding freight charges worth $810 and deducting $7, 500 as full federal tax credit. There are several states like California that have been providing incentives and tax rebates on such vehicles, so buyers from these respective states can happily take advantage of those off. Buyers in California will also be given access to other privileges like carpool lane and High-Occupancy vehicle.
This car has an average distance coverage range of 132 kms while the fuel efficacy stands at around 50kmpl. With the 21 kWh lithium battery the buyers will also be accommodated with a warranty of eight years or 100, 000 miles whichever exhausts first. According its makers, this car on an average will save the drivers from expense of $1800 each year.
The car can be 80 % charged in just 20 minutes when connected to a DC power resource along with a SAE combo charger. On a 240 V charger the car would take 7 hours contrarily. The car will be available at very selective outlets of Chevrolet in California and Oregon from June onwards.
