Yamaha India floated the Yamaha Fascino scooter for Rs.52,500, ex-showroom, in the Capital. The bike features an enriched and nostalgic modernized layout. The scooter would cater to the Indian youthfulness that accounts nearly half of the total population in India.

The scooter weighs about 103 kg, being the slimmest scooter in India, although light in weight, but its powered by 113cc air-cooled 4-stroke SOH-2 valve dynamo, that churns out 7.1PS at 7500 rpm and 8.1Nm at 5000rpm, mated to CVT.
The ‘Blue Core’ engine is served by a carburetor, and as per Yamaha’s claims, it would deliver an average of 66 km/L. The scooter comes with drum brakes that retard the 90/100-10 53J tyres. Its dimensions go like 1,185 mm in length, 675 mm as the width, 1,120 mm height and stands at a wheelbase of 1,270 mm. The fuel tank contains up to 5.2 L of fuel. The Yamaha Fascino is rolled out in colors coded as Rouge Red, Sassy Cyan, Haute White, Cool Cobalt and Tuxedo Black.
