Victory motorcycles un-wrapped the latest Octane cruiser bike. The Victory Octane as per the American manufacturer is indeed a lavish and urbane American powering bike. The motorcycle acquires its power over the 1,200cc V-twin motor producing a 105PS of power at 8,000rpm whereas the 99Nm of maximum torque @ 8,000rpm. As per the Victory, the Octane is the indeed the most prevailing motorcycle built till now. The engine of the bike is paired to a six-speed transmission along with a cable-actuated clutch, and belt final drive. The engine of the bike is also used in the Project 156 Pikes Peak concept. The engine bears the entire burden while being well connected to front and rear cast aluminium frame partitions.
At the fore of the bike, the Victory Octane places a telescopic front fork suspension with 120mm travel whereas talking of the rear of the bike, the twin-shocks that are preload modifiable and offer 76mm travel . The cruiser bike is constructed upon a lean angle of 32° whereas the wheelbase is 1,578mm. As far as the braking system of the bike is concerned, the twin-piston caliper and 298mm disc at the fore and back, keeping the ABS being standard. The Victory Octane gives out a strange similarity to the Indian Scout but this should not be very surprising as both the brands are owned by Polaris. The Victory Octane has arrived in the market, carrying a price tag of INR 7.2 lakh.
