Rajiv Bajaj confirms a new Avenger this financial year

While already there is a bike storm, stirred in by the Bajaj Motors, there are reports floating on the web regarding one more Bajaj Avenger, been dressed up for a launch during the current financial year. This all new Bajaj Avenger is expected to acquire its power from a 199.5cc unit by the 200 NS.Rajiv Bajaj, the MD and the CEO of the Bajaj Auto, gave confirmation about the company that is preparing to launch the Bajaj Avenger during this year. Mr. Bajaj also quoted that a new and fresh Avenger would be rolled out during the third quarter of this current fiscal, although additional details regarding the product are still to be revealed.

 

 

 

However, there was a report circulated earlier, regarding this latest Bajaj Avenger, to be continuing to look similar to the present variant, whereas it would be powered by a 220 cc engine, although the small in size unit would be producing a better power as well as torque.At present, the 220 cc mill in the current Bajaj Avenger makes 19.03 PS at 8,400 rpm along with torque of 17.5 Nm, developing 23.52 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of Torque. These are a few clues, that the basic layout would just be carried forward, might be enhanced further with some better additional.Although, Bajaj Avenger is already a well famed segment with the company, a further enhancement would just add on to its crown of popularity.
